Both Ends Simultaneous Working CNC Lathe for Long Parts
Single spindle (fixed), two turrets (movable), two gang tool units (movable) and twin CNC system. Two turrets can operate simultaneously and carry out different cutting processes on both ends. Shaft, rod, or tubes both end cutting (O.D. & I.D.) are carried out simultaneously to obtain very high concentricity and benefit. Special auto loading & unloading system can be fitted to handle worpiece with unsymmetrical or special-shaped on ends.

GANG TOOLING
Gang tooling is a cost-effective platform to build additional automation such as in-process gauging and unusual tooling arrangements such as grinding heads. Gang-type tooling on the PTL E-420G offers increased accuracy and speed over turret based designs. Unlike a turret, the tools stay fixed on the gang tool plate, not only can they achieve better positioning accuracy, and there’s also no time lost to turret indexing. Gang tool layout is proven to reduce cycle times while maintaining rigidity and superior surface finish.
