His Excellency Philippe BEKE, Ambassador of Belgium in Romania and Mr. Dirk Timmerman, Flemish economic representative, graced us by their presence at the ALFA METAL MACHINERY head office in Iasi on 13th May 2011.
The Ambassador was very impressed by the professionalism of Mr. Patrick Favoreel and his team and congratulated him for his remarkable achievement in making ALFA METAL MACHINERY a super success and a very well known name in East-Europe.

The Ambassador and Mr. Timmerman were given a presentation showing ALFA’s variety in areas involving engineering, CNC machine tools, service and the unique sales & marketing system. They particularly took special interest at the high quality machines at our service center which were in process of preparation for customer installation.

They were also introduced to some of ALFA’s customers where high-end machines for various industries including aerospace were installed. A mind boggling array of different machines which ALFA had provided, has left a lasting impression on the Ambassador.

After the various meetings, the Ambassador reflected that the machine tool industry is truly a growing opportunity, especially for Romania, with the vast amount of professionals available here. And with companies like ALFA METAL MACHINERY, it’s truly an icing on the cake!
