Last week, our engineers completed the installation and commissioning of a new PROFIMACH CNC PT-060 CNC strong bed lathe at the headquarters of COMATOS PROD SRL.

The installation of this machine is part of a large process meant to increase the production capabilities of the company, initiated as a result of the greater production requirements and of the diversification of the product range.

COMATOS PROD SRL, is a privately owned Romanian company, located in Valenii de Munte, Prahova County. Its main business is industrial production and trade with spare parts for refining industry, petrochemistry, oil equipment and machine construction. The production capacity consists in a varied range of mechanical works and fittings such as: flanges, studs, vendeletes, sockolets, etc

This lathe, built with an extra rigid machine bed and a width of 605 mm, designed for heavy cutting, is fit for turning parts of up to 800 mm diameter and a maximum length of 1000 mm.

The Profimach CNC PT-060 strong bed series is designed primarily for heavy duty turning operations with high productivity. The high quality casting construction with a very rigid bed assure optimum rigidity and stability for years of reliable, trouble free operations. Simple programming and easy handling, make these machine suitable for turning of complicated shaft, sleeve and disk type work piece, such as turning of internal and external cylindrical, conical and various threads and even drilling, boring and reaming holes
