We are looking to recruit experienced Mechanical or Electrical Engineer who are looking to join a market leading organization with the remit of Servicing, Repairing, Fault-finding and Installing the companies range of Milling, Turning, Sawing, Grinding, Cutting, Punching Machines, Pressbrake, Plate working Machinery, EDM, CNC and conventional across the Romania and Eastern Europe as and when required.

The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical in the field of machine tools industry and will be enthused by working in a high tech company.

Requirements:

• Technical background
• Minimum engineer level or equivalent with experience
• Knowledge of spare parts, electrical and mechanical components, tooling and accessories for machinery
• Plan and layout reading knowledge, CAD/CAM software knowledge is a plus
• Intensive cooperation with the Service managers and Service team
• Communication with Service team, Suppliers and Customers in an highly organized approach
• Interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Be able to deliver high standards of customer service and recognize different customer needs
• Be able to regularly learn and understand changes to products, promotions and procedures
• Ability to work under pressure
• Parts sourcing in aftermarket
• Working knowledge of Excel and of Microsoft Office products
• Fluent in English reading and talking, other language is a plus

Duties And Responsibilities:

• The Assistant Service Manager assists with maintaining a safe and clean store and a service environment that delivers quality work on time to the customer. In addition, the assistant service manager will assist with training and developing service department associates to keep their machine tools knowledge and safety information up to date. The assistant service manager will also ensure that parts are in stock, the equipment is functioning safely and within compliance guidelines.
• The assistant service manager is in-charge of handling client requests for purchase, upgrades or modification in any existing product or service they are using. Coordinates with the senior manager and customer service staff to deliver prompt services to the clients.
• The assistant service manager keeps a track of the service requests and complaints of the clients. He has to instruct the staff if they face any problem while resolving client queries and also communicate with the irate clients to retain them. He must ensure that all the requests are processed promptly and none are kept pending.
• Handle all customer concerns in a quick, efficient, and friendly manner. Be proactive and anticipate potential customer issues before they seek assistance from senior management.
• Read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
• Perform associate development tasks, including mentoring and performance management.
• Successfully work with and through both managers and associates of other departments within the Store.
• Perform all duties of the Service Manager in his/her absence
• Required to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced working environment
• Speak clearly and listen effectively in dealing with customers/associates, both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates and management
• Execute multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and composure
