The goal of maintaining the status of first class supplier to Romania’s Ministry of National Defense, of developing as a sub-supplier of parts and mechanisms for the general and civil aviation, of developing the activity in order to become a maintenance and conversion unit for the civil aviation and of consolidating the general position on the national plan of the company can be reached only through continuous updating and modernization.

To this purpose, S.C. Aerostar S.A. has recently purchased from our company a machining center manufactured by AWEA, model BM-1020. This machine, with the table size of 1120 x 600 mm, the table load of 1000 kg, a spindle speed of 8000 rot/min and power of 11kW is among the best CNC machine tools.

The CNC vertical center AWEA BM 1020, equipped with top technology and high quality components is a perfect combination of power, strength and cutting speed. Standard equipment includes a latest generation numeric control Fanuc Oi M, Fanuc drivers and servomotors, 4 block type railways on X axis, pretensioned ballscrewa on the 3 axes, extra large Y based column; this machine can be used under the heaviest cutting conditions. With this newly purchased machine, S.C. Aerostar S.A. will be able to achieve easily the maximum of performance with regard to the necessary milling applications in agreement with the client’s requirements as well as with all future requirements.
